BCRA Publications: Copyright Issues

As you may know, BCRA is investigating the possibility of making the
content of our magazines - Speleology and Cave & Karst Science -
available on our web site. For Cave & Karst Science there will be the
option (eventually) for subscribers to opt out of receiving the paper
copy, for a saving in the subscription fee. Archiving our publications
in this way also makes them more accessible to future generations. 

Before we can go ahead with this plan, we need to obtain permission from
you - as an author or contributor - to reproduce your material in this
way.

We would therefore be most grateful if you could contact us (by email or
post) to indicate your acceptance of the following copyright licensing
agreement. A simple "yes, I agree. Ref: licence_060904_dg1.doc", emailed
to mailto:copyright@bcra.org.uk will be sufficient. 

Please note that if you do not reply to this letter, we will be unable
to use your material in our electronic publications. They will therefore
be published with a blank space where your contribution would otherwise

Contributor's copyright licensing agreement for BCRA publications

1. I agree to license my contribution to BCRA's publications in 
   accordance with the copyright licensing statement...

   to BCRA's publications, unless I state otherwise at the time of 
   submission of my work.
